job description
Core Role: Primary Responsibility for Planning/Raw Material forecasting.
Maintaining the ERP/MRP based software system to ensure all jobs are planned accordingly and align with customer and factory requirements.
Maintaining raw material stocks to ensure the manufacture of goods is carried out smoothly and within a timely fashion. Using only suppliers from the approved supplier list.
Excellent interdepartmental communication skills, ensuring all areas of the business is kept up to date with any potential pinch points.
Using the production based system to report on historical data to predict future material requirements.
Producing purchase orders for raw materials and consumables
Notice Period: Permanent employment, One Calendar Month
Pay Period: Every calendar month on the 24th
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days + Statutory holidays (3 days required for Christmas shutdown)
Qualifications: Experience in working with flexible packaging materials advantageous, but not necessary as full training can be provided for the right applicant.
Must have experience in working with computers, bonus if previous experience is with ERP/MRP systems.
Strong levels of organisation, and attention to detail required.
